The mission of the San Luis Obispo County Division of Animal Services is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of domestic animals and the people we serve through public education, enforcement of applicable laws, and the humane care and rehoming of impounded and sheltered animals.

Cat of the Month - FENAHAY (A162758)
Fenahey A very freindly and loving cat, Fenahay was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. While not curable, this condition is easily manageable through daily medication and treatment has already been started at the shelter. Spay and Neuter Vouchers are Coming!
Spay & Neuter On February 23, Animal services will release vouchers which can be used by animal owners to partially offset the cost of spaying or neutering their pets. The vouchers will have a value of $40 and can be redeemed at any veterinary clinic within the county. Vouchers are limited to one per animal with a maximum of three per household; dogs must be licensed before a voucher may be issued. Vouchers will be available at the Animal Services shelter in San Luis Obispo, the Sheriff's North Station in Templeton, and the Sheriff's South Station in Oceano.
