Some crimes can leave victims with physical injuries and/or emotional trauma. The Victim/Witness Assistance Center provides basic services and if necessary, referrals to other assistive programs.

• Assault with a deadly weapon
• Child Abuse
• Domestic Violence
• DUI resulting in injury/death
• Elder & Dependent Adult Abuse
• Hit & run causing injury/death
• Homicide/Manslaughter
• Kidnapping
• Robbery
• Sexual Assault

Victims of any of these types of crime may be eligible to apply for compensation for out-of-pocket expenses through the State Victim of Crime Program.
