Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault

Because domestic violence is a crime involving a partner, spouse, or significant other, a variety of feelings may be experienced, for example: shock, denial, hurt, anger, hopelessness and/or fear.

Many of these same feelings are experienced by a victim who has been raped or sexually abused.
