If you are a victim of a crime and the offender is under the supervision of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, you have the right to request: 

Notification

Upon an inmate’s:

• Release
• Death
• Escape
• Transfer
• Parole status/hearing

Special Conditions of Parole

A victim’s request for special conditions of parole, will be considered by the Parole & Community Services Division at the time of release.

Restitution

A Direct Order of restitution awarded by the sentencing judge, may be collected on behalf of the victim of the crime for any economic loss; medical, funeral expenses, or counseling.
