What is this service?
The Board of Supervisors holds public meetings almost every week (see the complete schedule) during which discuss County business, hold hearings, receive presentations, consider public comment, approve and renew contracts, and more. Anyone can attend a public Board meeting at any time.

What is the process?
Step 1: View Current Meetings and Documents Online
Watch or listen to live and past meetings, and view agendas, agenda item documents, and minutes from July 25, 2006 to current online.
Step 3: View Documents Prior to 2001
Visit or contact the Clerk-Recorder office to view all other documentation, including records prior to 2001.
When and where is this service offered?
The Board of Supervisors meetings are held most Tuesdays beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the County Government Center Board Chambers located at 1055 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo. Specific meeting dates can be found on the Board of Supervisors agenda page.
The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors prepares and maintains all the minutes, records and documents from Board of Supervisors meetings. All documents received are maintained in the Clerk-Recorder office and are available for public inspection. The minutes of the Board of Supervisors meetings are a summary of each item that was scheduled for a particular meeting date.
Past meetings can be found on this web page, or by visiting the Clerk-Recorder office in San Luis Obispo or Atascadero during regular business hours except during County-observed holidays.
