Child Health and Disability Prevention Program: Audiometric Screening Training
This training will provide participants with the necessary knowledge to conduct an audiometric screening using the play audiometry technique with children ages three to six years old.
Pre-Test.docxRecertification is required every four years for all personnel conducting audiometric screening for CHDP well child exams. If you have not done a screening within one year, you must get re-certified.
This training is intended for CHDP providers in San Luis Obispo County. (CHDP providers in Santa Barbara County may use this training as appropriate but may be asked to present additional competency to their local CHDP program.) Providers in other counties should contact your local CHDP program for local training opportunities and resources.
