Date: 8/13/2018 2:21:40 PM

Housing can have a profound impact on health—positive or negative. How can our community make the most of this connection to foster well-being for residents?

HEAL SLO Healthy Communities, a work group convened by the Public Health Department, is hosting a half-day summit with state and local innovators in health and housing. Planners, builders, developers, architects, community leaders, advocates and others are invited to join the summit to gain new knowledge and practical tips.

After the keynote and panel discussion, participants will have an opportunity to network with speakers and other attendees interested in building a healthy community.

When: Thursday, October 4 , 1-6 p.m.
Where: Veterans Hall, 801 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo

Registration is free and the summit is open to the public.
