Civil Service Commission

What is the Civil Service Commission? 

The Civil Service Commission assures the use of the merit principle in County employment, promotes efficiency in the conduct of County business, and works to assure fair and impartial treatment of all employees and applicants for employment in the classified service. (Rule 1.02)  

 

The Commission meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in room D271 in the Katcho Achadjian Government Center at 1055 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo.  Please see the meeting calendar for the current year's approved regular session meeting dates.  Meetings are open to the public, and public comments may be made in person, or submitted to the CSC clerk prior to 5pm on the day before a scheduled meeting.
