Oceano Drainage Improvements Project Phase 1

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will begin construction of drainage improvements along 13th Street near Highway 1 in Oceano.

Work is scheduled to start on January 22, 2019 and continue into early February, dependent upon weather.

The project includes the installation of underground pipe, inlets, cleanouts, and minor sidewalk improvements. This project is the first phase of overall Oceano Drainage Project which aims to reduce the chronic flooding at 13th Street and Highway 1.

For the safety of the public and workers, traffic control cone delineation and flagging is anticipated. Motorist are advised to adjust their travel plans and consider alternate routes.

Raminha Construction, Inc. of Atascadero, CA has been awarded the contract for $48,700 to perform the work. The project is funded by Regional State Highway Account (RSHA) funds.
