Our performance objectives are:  

•    Have an onsite response to 90% of all submitted work orders within 5 working days.
•    Have maintenance and custodial services rated as 'good or better' by 90% of  our client departments in annual customer surveys. 

How are we doing?  

•    We currently have a 5 day on-site response to 93% of all work orders submitted.
•    The last customer survey (June 2006) rated our services as 'good or better', as follows:

1. Maintenance Services: 100% rated us as 'good or better'.
2. Custodial Services: 93% rated us as 'good or better'.

We believe our greatest asset is our talented staff. The 29 individuals in our Building Maintenance team cover a combined total building area of 1.5 million square feet while bringing talents in such trades as heating and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing and painting.

The 30 individuals of the Custodial team cover an area of 691,000 square feet, providing clean floors, restrooms, walls, windows and personal work areas for County employees.

Facilities Maintenance and Custodial provides routine cleaning, repairs, projects and preventative maintenance for all departmental maintenance needs. Routine requests for repairs can be made through the user department's designated liason by submitting electronic work orders directly to Facilities Maintenance.
