Dam and Levee Failure Plan

Revision - Dam and Levee Failure Evacuation Plan

Dam Inundation Maps

A revision of the County Dam and Levee Failure Evacuation Plan is available for review.

The primary purpose of this plan is to establish and define emergency management procedures and organizational response for overall coordination of public protective public actions that may be needed in the event of failure at one of the dams or levee noted in the revised document.

As an overall emergency management and coordination document - it is not a first responder field guide - this plan generally does not address specific field response actions by public safety, public works, and related agencies. Those agencies would use standard emergency response procedures or internal procedures specific to dam or levee failure.
