Groundbreaking Ceremony

Many gathered at the future Intake site of the Nacimiento Water Project to celebrate the beginning of the Project's long-awaited construction phase and to honor the hard work and dedication that has made the Project a success thus far.

Nacimiento Water Project Commissioners remove the first of many shovel-fulls of dirt that will be excavated during the construction of the Project's 180-foot deep Intake shaft.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors also remove their share of dirt from the Intake site.
