September 28, 2011

 

  • Raminha Construction has completed the work and was accepted by the Board of Supervisors on August 9, 2011.
  • The intersection of Willow Road and Pomeroy is now an all way stop.

 

 June 20, 2011

 

  • The project is essentially complete.  The contractor is working on punch list items.

 

May 16, 2011

 

  • The pavement work for the project is complete.
  • Pavement striping will begin this week; May 16th
  • A stop sign will be installed on Pomeroy for north and south bound traffic.
  • Willow Road will not have a stop sign.
  • The intersection of Willow Road and Hetrick Avenue will be an “all way stop”.
  • The project will be completed this month.

 

April 12, 2011

 

  • Pomeroy Road reconstruction is underway and anticipated to last for 3 weeks.  The intersection of Willow Road and Pomeroy Road will be raised approximately 3 feet.  The reconstruction work will begin at Live Oak Ridge Road and continue north about 1,600 feet.  The work will terminate about 300’ past (north of) the crest in Pomeroy.  There will be one way lane control during the work times and will be open to two way traffic over night.  Traffic will be driving on gravel and speed limit will be set at 25 MPH.

 

  • Willow between Misty Glen Place and Pomeroy is now open but subject to delays due to construction on Pomeroy Road.

 

  • The project will be completed in early May.

 

April 4, 2011

  • Raminha Construction is the contractor.
  •  Project bid amount: $4,029,047.
  • Work east of Pomeroy essentially complete.
  • Currently Willow closed between Misty Glen Place and Pomeroy to accelerate construction.  Scheduled to be reopened April 7th due to rain saturating the road base and sub base.
  • Pomeroy Road reconstruction is the last segment of work.  The intersection of Willow Road and Pomeroy Road will be raised approximately 3 feet.  The reconstruction work will begin at Live Oak Ridge Road and continue north about 1,600 feet.  The work will terminate about 300’ past (north of) the crest in Pomeroy.  There will be one way lane control during the work times and will be open to two way traffic over night.  Traffic will be driving on gravel and speed limit will be set at 25 MPH.
