Latest Drought Update: Record Tree Die-Off Threatens Public Health, Safety 

As the drought persists, dead and dying trees in San Luis Obispo County pose a significant public safety threat, County officials reported on November 17. But the County and other local agencies are working to mitigate the problem as the expected stormy winter approaches.

County Saves Water Ratepayers $12.7 Million

San Luis Obispo, Templeton, and Paso Robles water ratepayers will save more than $12.7 million after the County of San Luis Obispo successfully refinanced a portion of the Nacimiento Water Bonds in August, taking advantage of lower interest rates. Read more.
