El Chorro Regional Park and Campground is located on Highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. Use El Chorro as your personal base camp to explore the Central Coast or simply spend a pleasant day in the park enjoying the view from its trails.  El Chorro's trails range from the scenic views on Eagle Rock to the cool riparian area along Dairy Creek in a beautiful setting of coast live oaks and seasonal wildflowers. 

One of the great features of El Chorro Park is the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden.  Visit the different mediteranean gardens on display as well as the numerous interpretive and educational programs offered throughout the year.  Other features of the park include softball fields, group picnic areas, off-leash pet area, and a childrens playground.  Don't forget to bring your clubs so you can enjoy a terrific day of golf at Dairy Creek's link style course.

Driving south on Highway 101:
Heading south on Highway 101 to San Luis Obispo and take the Santa Rosa Street exit.  Follow exit around to the right until you come to the Santa Rosa Street stoplight.  Turn left onto Santa Rosa Street. Santa Rosa will turn into Highway 1. Follow Santa Rosa Street / Highway I for approximately 4 1/2 miles. El Chorro Regional Park will be located on the right side of the road. It is across the highway from Cuesta College at Dairy Creek Road.
