The Environmental Programs Division provides environmental services to the Department of Public Works. Our Mission is to “Maintain and improve public facilities and safety while conserving and enhancing environmental resources for the benefit of the community.” Our responsibilities include environmental review (CEQA and NEPA), regulatory permitting, and environmental compliance for projects and activities carried out by the Department of Public Works. We also coordinate the County’s Storm Water Management Program and address water quality issues throughout the County.
