Community Supervision
The offense committed by the Defendant determines their assignment within three distinct units and within those units, a classification system determines the Defendant's risk potential for re-offense, and establishes the level of supervision they will receive. Low and low-medium risk for re-offense place the Defendant in a limited supervision caseload. High and high-medium risk offenders pose a greater risk to the community and require a combination of community supervision, as well as referrals to outside agencies such as Dug and Alcohol Services, Mental Health and community based organizations.
