1. Franchise Tax Board Tax lntercept Program

Chronically delinquent accounts are referred to the Franchise Tax Board to intercept any State tax refund due to the debtor. These funds will be redirected to Collections to pay for the delinquent account.

2. Franchise Tax Board Court-Ordered Debt Collection Program

If your delinquent account has been referred to the Court-Ordered Debt Collections Program you will need to make your payments payable to Court-Ordered Debt Collections and include your full name, account number, and billing number on your payment. If debtor fails to pay FTB-CODC directly, FTB-CODC will collect from the debtor in any manner authorized under the law for collection of a delinquent person including garnish a debtor's wages and levy a debtor's bank account.

An account referred to FTB-CODC for further collection shall not be actively pursued for collection by the County.
