Labor Relations

The majority of County employees are represented by employee organizations that have been granted exclusive representation rights under the County’s Employee Relations Policy. The County currently has all represented employees under multi-year agreements. Typically these agreements contain economic formulas that determine employee salaries and benefits during the term of the agreement. Salaries and benefits for unrepresented employees, Management and Confidential employees, are set by Board of Supervisor’s Resolutions. For current salary information, please refer to the Job Salaries table. The information given here is as complete as possible.
