To celebrate National County Government Month, the County of San Luis Obispo is offering a variety of activities for people to enjoy all across the county. This is an opportunity for us to share the positive impacts our services have on the community we serve.
National County Government Month, held each April, is an annual celebration of county government. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Brilliant Ideas at Work”. Featured events include public guided tours of some of the County’s innovative facilities, programs and projects, including the County Public Health Lab, which has brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment capable of detecting and analyzing infectious diseases.
