Assessment Appeals

An Assessment Appeal is a formal process which can be used if you disagree with the assessed value of your property.  The process is started by filing an application for a changed assessment and culminates in a hearing before the Assessment Appeals Board.  You also have the option of filing an Assessment Review Request with the Assessor’s Office.
