The Clerk of the Assessment Appeals Board prepares and maintains all the minutes, records and documents from Assessment Appeals Board's meetings. All documents received are maintained in the Clerk-Recorder's Office and are available for public inspection.
The minutes of the Assessment Appeals Board's meetings are a summary of each item that was scheduled for a particular meeting date. The Clerk of the Board maintains tape recordings of each meeting in addition to these minutes. The tapes are considered the official transcript of the meeting. If you wish to schedule an appointment to listen to a particular item or meeting, call 781-5245. Copies of these tapes are available, for a fee, (see Fee Schedule) at the Clerk-Recorder's Office.
