Printer Version
Documents identified in the Official Documents index may be copied in a couple of different ways. The fee for copies and certified copies of documents can be found on the
Fee Scheule
. A copy of a document located in the Official Records Grantor/Grantee index can be purchased in person at the San Luis Obispo office while you wait.
If that is not convenient, copies can be requested through the mail or by telephone. If calling to request copies, a credit card will be necessary to purchase the copies. The copies will be mailed the day of the request. (There is a $6.00 service charge to request copies using a credit card.) Copies requested by mail are made and mailed within 1 to 2 business days of receipt of the request with appropriate fees.
If copies are not required, the documents can be viewed at no charge in the San Luis Obispo Office of the Clerk - Recorder.
