Deputy Commissioner for a Day

The person requesting to become a Deputy Commissioner, prior to being issued the oath, must present a letter that includes the following information:

Full Name, address, and phone number.

Full names of both parties to the marriage.

Date of marriage ceremony

Marriage ceremony fee can be found on the Fee Schedule

Once this information has been obtained, the Clerk will prepare the Oath for a Deputy Commissioner. The oath must show that this person is being sworn soley for the purpose of performing ONE ceremony. If they are performing more than one, They will need to provide a letter with the above information and a separate oath will need to be given.

Once the oath is completed (in duplicate) the original, and the letter, will remain on file in our office. A copy will be given to the person taking the oath.
