Ombuds Program / Help

The Ombuds program helps resolve child support issues and explains your rights and responsibilities.

Ombuds Responsibilities:

  • Help you with child support issues.

  • Assist you in understanding the complaint process before, during, and after the complaint is filed

  • May assist you in preparing for a State Hearing

A complaint may be filed if you are not satisfied with the assistance you are receiving from the County Department of Child Support Services. The complaint process is exclusive to specific types of complaints, so please contact the Ombuds person in your local Child Support Agency for more information, Contact Us.
