What Is The Purpose Of Minor Accountability Program?
Minor Accountability Program (MAP) is a service provided by San Luis Obispo Drug and Alcohol Services to help youth meet their legal obligations for drug and alcohol offenses. In the process, the youth and family will be exposed to education and counseling designed to help them make positive lifestyle changes. MAP Program services are based upon each individual minor’s assessed needs. Additional services beyond the minimum listed below are not charged to the youth or family, but are required as part of the program completion.
What Is The minor accountability program?
Minor Accountability Program (MAP) is a service provided by San Luis Obispo Drug and Alcohol Services to help youth meet their legal obligations for drug and alcohol offenses.
Parents who are concerned about their youth may also refer and be involved without a legal problem in the MAP Level I.
In the process, the youth and family will be exposed to education and counseling designed to help them make positive lifestyle changes.

At the end of the MAP Program, other counseling services may be recommended and are available through San Luis Obispo County Drug and Alcohol Services or other providers.
What Is The Cost?
Level I is $ 276.00
Level II is $ 624.00
All fees are to be paid prior to attendance of Family Education Classes.
Additional charges are assessed for missed appointments ($22.00 each appointment) and drug screens ($26.00 each drug screen).
Medi-Cal and General Relief are accepted.
Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted.

Clients must arrive before 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday to be registered.
Bring your program payment. You may make payments, but the full amount needs to be paid prior to attendance at Class.
Bring a copy of your current court order or diversion contract for legal referrals.
What Happens When I Complete The Course?
Upon completion of counseling and payment of all fines and fees, a Notice of Completion will be given to the client and sent to Probation/Court.
