Juvenile Hall Mental Health Services: There are two full-time therapists providing mental health services seven days a week to minors at SLO Juvenile Hall. All minors are given a basic mental health needs assessment within 24 hours of their admission to Juvenile Hall. Following that, therapists provide treatment when indicated. In addition, for minors needing medication evaluations and/or medication monitoring, a psychiatrist does medication rounds twice weekly.
