Public Health Emergency Preparedness Healthcare Coalition is a group of healthcare partners and providers from around the county that meet to plan and prepare for times of medical and health disaster.  Organizations benefit from information and resources sharing as well as local training and exercises for staff education.

Upcoming PHEPAC Meetings

To help our county respond and recover quickly from emergencies, the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program (PHEP) invites healthcare entities to join in planning for disasters. Follow the steps below to join:

1) Submit the Emergency Preparedness Partner Information Sheet along with the signed copy of the MOU so your organization can be part of the information exchange. 

2) Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support timely resource and information sharing among healthcare entities in emergencies. 

3) Attend Public Health Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee (PHEPAC) meetings to collaborate with other healthcare partners.

4) Enroll in the California Health Alert Network (CAHAN) to receive public health alerts and messages.
