Special Needs Populations - Planning for Local and Regional Disasters

The County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department and Office of Emergency Services wants to support constituents with special needs in planning for local and regional disasters. All individuals, with or without disabilities, can decrease the impact of a disaster by taking steps to prepare before an event occurs. In the spring of 2012, a letter was sent to community partners that serve special needs individuals highlighting resources and links available to assist them.
