Our Mission
To work with individual communities on health issues of local concern; to educate the public on how to prevent communicable diseases; to provide effective response measures that promptly minimize the spread of infectious diseases; to prevent HIV infection and to assist individuals in managing HIV/AIDS; to fight tobacco use and prevent use in children; to provide probate and trust assistance to needy individuals; to provide health care for those in jail or juvenile hall; to maintain vital records for births and deaths within the county; and to promote optimal health for all individuals in the community.
