HIV Testing:

HIV antibody testing along with HIV transmission information and risk reduction counseling is offered free of charge at Public Health Department clinics in Paso Robles, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Grover Beach and at neighborhood sites throughout the county.

HIV Prevention:

Public Health contracts with community-based organizations to provide HIV prevention information to people at risk for contracting HIV using the following interventions: individual counseling, group education, social marketing, street outreach, peer education and skill-building workshops.

Hepatitis C Testing:

Low-cost Hepatitis C testing is available at Public Health Departments in Paso Robles, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Grover Beach and at neighborhood sites throughout the county. Support services for people with Hepatitis C infection are available from the SLO Hepatitis C Project (805-543-4372).
