Public Health Clinic Services

The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department offers a variety of services at Public Health Clinics throughout the county to enhance the health of community residents.

 

Clinic Services:

  • Low-cost birth control services through the Family PACT program for low-income women (counseling, exams, birth control methods, emergency contraception and screening for sexually-transmitted diseases (STD)) and men (contraception counseling, condoms and STD screening)
  • Low-cost cancer screening for women through Cancer Detection Section (pap smears and clinical breast exams)
  • Food vouchers and nutritional services through the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program
  • Immunizations for children, adults and overseas travelers
  • Communicable disease screening, treatment and follow-up for men and women (tuberculosis, salmonella, STD screening, HIV, Hepatitis B and C, etc.)
