CHDP-RFU pays for follow-up care for children with conditions detected during a Child Health and Disability Prevention screening and who do not have Medi-Cal. Patients may be directly referred to the CHDP-RFU program by a physician or by the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department CHDP office after a CHDP screening. Payment to providers is limited to funds available from the State of California.
