There are two steps involved with accessing a secure message 
     1) Receiving and accessing the encrypted message
     2) Log into the CRES system

Details for each step are below: 

1) Receiving and accessing the encrypted message
Open the message and save the attachment (securedoc.html) to your desktop and double-click on it to open the document in your browser. 

 

2) Log into the CRES system
When you click on the password field, you should see the Security Phrase that you provided during the Registration Process.  If you don't see your security phrase, you will not be able to log in (this may happen if you are accessing CRES from a different workstation than the one you registered from).  Enter your password and click on the Open button.  You will now see the contents of the encrypted message.  When done, you may reply by clicking on the Reply button or close the browser window if you're finished.
