Laetitia Agricultural Cluster Subdivision

Project Update


The Laetitia Agricultural Cluster Subdivision project was recently denied by the Planning Commission on February 11, 2016.  The applicant has filed an appeal of the denial to the Board of Supervisors.  The appeal has been scheduled for the July 26, 2016 Board of Supervisors meeting.  A continuance has been requested to move the first hearing to August 23, 2016.  Documentation related to the appeal is listed below:

Final EIR for the Laetitia Agricultural Cluster Subdivision

The Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Laetitia Agricultural Cluster Subdivision is complete and available for review. The FEIR addresses the environmental impacts that may be associated with the request to subdivide twenty-one parcels (approximately 1,910 acres) into 106 lots, including 102 residential lots and four open space lots. The proposed project is within the Agriculture and Rural Lands land use categories and is located approximately two miles north of Los Berros Road, two miles north of the community of Nipomo, and two miles south of the City of Arroyo Grande, in the South County Inland planning area of San Luis Obispo County.

Copies of the Final EIR are available at the following locations: Cal Poly Library, South County Library, and City/ County Library of San Luis Obispo. The first public hearing before the San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission is scheduled for August 13, 2015 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Government Center, San Luis Obispo. A second hearing has also been tentatively scheduled for September 10, 2015.
