E-Permits

Our EPermits site is under construction while we update it to reflect our new fees and improve the site. Permits can be obtained in person at the Permit Center at 976 Osos St, San Lius Obispo, CA 93408, Room 200. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Online Inspection Scheduling

Once the majority of the work has been completed, and before any of it is covered or enclosed, you must schedule an inspection.  If you do not schedule an inspection, you could be required to uncover the work (i.e. dig up piping or open up drywall) so that it can be inspected. There are two ways to schedule your inspection.  You may schedule your inspection using On-Line Inspection Scheduling, or you may use our Automated Inspection Scheduling telephone line by calling 805-788-2076.  More information on how to schedule an inspection is available at: Information on Inspections

Online Fee Payment

You may pay your land use and code enforcement fees online, and your building permit second installment fees.  You can go directly to our Online Fee Payment page, or use our Permit Status Lookup to view your permit (if you have fees that can be paid online, a link will automatically appear in the Permit Status Lookup screen).

Permit Status Lookup

Use our Permit Status Lookup to view permit status, fees, conditions and other information.  You'll need your permit number or property address.

Parcel and Zoning Lookup

Use our Parcel and Zoning Lookup to view information on county parcels, assessor maps and parcel history.  You'll need the Assessor Parcel Number or property address.
