Unsecured Property Taxes must be paid on or before August 31, 2017.

Unsecured Property Tax Bills were recently mailed. Unsecured property taxes are taxes on items such as business equipment, boats, and airplanes. These taxes are a lien against the assessee, not against real estate. The assessed owner as of January 1, 2017 is responsible for paying these bills, even if they sell or otherwise dispose of the property after January 1, 2017.

Please contact the Tax Collector's Office at or at (805) 781-5831 if you have questions about your tax bill.
