Here you will find a list of significant dates in the property tax cycle.  Please note that this list does not include all dates or items but is intended as a general overview for property owners and other interested parties.

February 1

Property Tax Second Installment is due and payable.

April 10

Delinquent date for Second Installment payment deadline, 10% penalty and a $10.00 cost will be added for payments credited after this date. This date should not be confused with the State and Federal Income Tax filing deadline of April 15.

May

Delinquent notices are mailed during the month for unpaid amounts.

June 30

End of fiscal year.

July 1

Delinquent secured property taxes are added to the prior tax roll and 1.5% penalty per month begins to accrue, plus a $15.00 redemption fee on first year delinquencies transferred to this roll.

Any person with tax defaulted property, unless subject to the power to sell, may elect to pay these taxes in installments.

July 31

Unsecured property taxes are mailed by this date.

August 31

Unsecured property taxes credited after this date are delinquent and a 10% penalty is added.

October

Secured property tax bills are mailed during this month.

November 1

Secured property tax bills are due and payable.

Interest of 1.5% per month begins accruing for delinquent unsecured taxes.

December 10

Delinquent date for First Installment payment deadline, 10% penalty will be added for payments credited after this date.
