Welcome to the Office of the San Luis Obispo County Treasurer.  This office provides banking and investment services for the County, school districts, and special districts.  The department's mission is to Provide Quality Service in performing the duties of the combined office.

Below are the duties of the County Treasurer: 

• Keeping safe all funds belonging to the county, school districts, and special districts

• Meeting county payment obligations

• Assisting with school, special district, and county issuance of debt

• Actively managing the combined Investment Portfolio by conservatively investing surplus funds in compliance with the County Investment Policy and all applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws
