COVID-19 Testing for Farm Workers

Author: Marc Lea
Date: 6/17/2020 8:00:00 AM

As has become evident over the past few months, COVID-19 can cause serious health problems and it’s important that we all take the actions necessary to help prevent the spread of this virus. The County of San Luis Obispo is committed to making sure that all agricultural businesses and workers understand the local resources that are available to them.

Free, confidential COVID-19 testing is available to anyone who thinks they may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, even if they are not currently experiencing symptoms. If the test comes back positive, temporary lodging for those diagnosed can be arranged to help ensure the safety and well-being of the person’s family and housemates. For additional information, please review the associated brochure, Guide to Free, Confidential COVID-19 Testing, available in both English and Spanish.

For those growers and businesses interested in printing out these brochures for your staff, you may prefer this simpler, more print-friendly version of the brochure, available in both English and Spanish
