Unpaid Current Year Property Taxes?

Unsecured Property Taxes must be paid on or before August 31, 2018.

Unsecured Property Tax Bills are scheduled to be mailed on July 20, 2018. Unsecured property taxes are taxes on items such as business equipment, boats, and airplanes. These taxes are a lien against the assessee, not against real estate. The assessed owner as of January 1, 2018, is responsible for paying these bills, even if he or she sells or otherwise disposes of the property after January 1, 2018.
