DCSS conducted a Customer Survey to better meet customer needs.
The Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) is focusing on engaging with their customers and asked for feedback with ways to improve the service provided. DCSS provides services to approximately 4,000 families in the community and issued 4,385 email surveys to the customers who had an email address on file. Responses were received from 572 case participants and DCSS ranked with an overall score of 3.57 out of 5. The survey listed 8 questions pertaining to the method of communication when contacting DCSS, accessibility and convenience to case information and the level of service provided. DCSS is currently working on the strategic plan for 2020 and identifying innovative processes that will make it easier for customers to connect with the Department and also provide prompter responses to their inquiries. The goal is to achieve an overall score of 3.67 by the end of next year.
