San Luis Obispo County Jury found Ignacio Franco Palomar III guilty of murder

Ignacio Franco Palomar III was found guilty of murder today, after he hit his victim outside an Arroyo Grande Bar in 2014.

Today, a jury found Ignacio Franco Palomar III (DOB 05/26/1978) guilty of the second degree murder (Penal Code 187 (a)) of a Grover Beach man stemming from an assault on October 2, 2014.  Mr. Palomar struck the victim inflicting an injury that ultimately resulted in the victim’s death. 

A trial on two alleged prior serious felonies, pursuant to California Three Strikes Law, will be heard tomorrow in Department 1 of the San Luis Obispo County Superior Court, the Honorable Judge Jacqueline Duffy presiding.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Charles Blair and investigated by the Arroyo Grande Police Department and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff-Coroner.
