Meet Pepper, a mellow five-year-old girl who loves her walks and adventures away from the shelter.

Pepper is a sweet and mellow dog who has been working on her waistline and is doing great. She loves her walks, rides well in the car and enjoys her field trips away from the shelter—but she is also easy to settle down and relax while waiting for her next adventure.  She behaves herself when out walking and appears to be housetrained.

Pepper would love a family who would take her for nice long walks, play with her in the yard or just chill in the house. She would do best as an only dog. She may seem shy at first but once she gets to know you, she enjoys attention and will even give you a nose bump when she wants you to keep petting her.

Pepper arrived at the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. She requires a daily thyroid pill, which she happily takes.
