Rex, the gentle giant German Shepard is ready to smile his way into your heart!

Meet Rex, the 8-year-old handsome German Shepard! Rex is a gentle giant who arrived at the Animal Services shelter in February. He has shown to be good with older children and familiar dogs, but needs some help interacting with unfamiliar animals, especially outside of the home. Rex is a good boy who is housebroken, listens well, and knows how to enjoy walks on the leash. His is a sweet dog who likes snuggling up close to those he loves, and his smile is sure to melt your heart. Rex is looking for a house with lots of room and a big yard to accommodate his size and active personality.

Make an appointment today and come meet Rex to see if he is the right fit for you! The Animal Number for Rex is A190064.

Please Note: In support of public health measures to mitigate the transmission and spread of COVID-19, an appointment is currently required to meet and adopt shelter animals. Call Animal Services at (805-781-4400) to schedule an appointment. You will be asked to provide the ID number of the animal you are interested in adopting at the time you make your appointment.
