Awareness Gallery at County of SLO Libraries- April 2023

Libraries in Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, and San Luis Obispo are raising awareness during on mental health and substance use. Stop by the free exhibit to explore topics related to stress, drinking, cannabis, and overdose prevention In SLO County. The exhibit is available in English and Spanish and runs April 1-April 30.

Out of Darkness Walk- April 29, 2023

Join the Central Coast Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, SLO Behavioral Health, and dozens of local organizations and passionate community members as we fight to end the stigma around mental health and prevent suicide here in SLO County.


April 29th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Check-in starts at 10:00 AM and is open to everyone in our community.

Journey of Hope- May 1, 2023

Presented by Transitions-Mental Health Association, Journey of hope 2023 is an exploration of teen mental health through personal stories, education, and community connection. This year's keynote speaker is Amanda Lipp, a documentary filmmaker, consultant, and social entrepreneur working at the intersection mental health care, storytelling, and technology. 

May 1, 2023, 5pm-6pm Resource Fair; 6pm-8pm Presentation at New Life Community Church in Pismo Beach.
