Hotline Call Handler Training

Central Coast Hotline Call Handler Volunteers are trained to staff San Luis Obispo County's only 24-hour mental health support, information, crisis and suicide prevention line. The volunteer position’s 32-hour training involves professional development unmatched by traditional volunteer programs. Participants learn communication skills, gain knowledge of mental health topics, and receive training to be a resource specialist.

The training schedule is as follows:

1. Friday, October 4th, 9am-4pm
2. Friday, October 11th, 9am-4pm
3. Friday, October 15th, 9am-4pm
4. Friday, October 25th 8am-5pm
5. Saturday, October 26th, 8am-5pm
