Underground Storage Tank Facility Inspection

This service allows you to request an inspection of your Underground Storage Tank site located within San Luis Obispo County. Annual inspections are required to verify compliance with leak detection, leak prevention, spill response, and permit requirements. Triennial inspections are required to verify tightness of secondary containment systems.

This service is required for all Underground Storage Tank Facilities regulated by Environmental Health Services.

Is there a charge for this service?

Annual permit fees are required for Underground Storage Tank Facilities regulated by Environmental Health Services. The fee provides regulatory compliance oversight, one annual routine inspection, one reinspection, and one triennial secondary containment inspection. Additional chargeable inspections may be required if compliance is not achieved during the reinspection.
