MWELO Irrigated Landscaping 500 - 2,500 sqft

Any project requiring a permit, plan check, or design review with an aggregate landscape of 2,500 or less must comply with this ordinance by submitting a Landscape Project Information packet and Prescriptive Compliance Package. The package has two separate steps during the permitting and building process.

What is the process?

Submit Sections A-D Prior to Permit Issuance

Sections A through D of Prescriptive Compliance Package must be submitted prior to permit issuance:

  1. Project Information Sheet

  2. Landscape Site Plan

  3. Plant List

  4. Plant Materials and Irrigation Requirements

Submit Sections E-F Prior to Final Building Inspection

Sections E-F of Prescriptive Compliance Package must be submitted prior to final building inspection:

  1. Sub-meter for projects over 1,000 square feet

  2. Certificates of completion and installation, irrigation and maintenance schedule

Who can use this service?

This service is for projects with an aggregate landscape area of 500 to 2,500 square feet.

Is there a charge for this service?

This service is provided free of charge.

When and where is this service offered?

This service is available throughout the year during regular business hours except during scheduled holidays.
