Modification to a Previously Approved Land Use Permit

What is the process?

Step 1: Identify the original Land Use Permit number.  

Identify the original Land Use Permit number.  

Step 2: Complete the Modification Application Form.

Step 3: Assemble the other required documents.

  • Modified Plans 

  • Consent of Property Owner PLN-1012 

  • Summary of Proposed Changes  

  • Written justification for how the proposed change(s) meet the criteria in County Code Section 22.64.050 or 23.02.038 

Step 4: Apply for a Land Use Permit application online.

  • Upload the application form and required documents.   

Step 6: Pay Invoice.

Planning staff will email the applicant in invoice, which the applicant pay online here.   

Step 9: Planning Staff will process the application.  

If the application meets the criteria in County Code Section 22.64.050 or 23.02.038, staff will determine that the modification is in substantial conformance with the previously approved land use permit application.  If the application does not meet the criteria in County Code Section 22.64.050 or 23.02.038, staff will deny the application.

This service is available to anyone applying for a modification to an existing permitted telecommunications facility.

Please refer to the Department of Planning & Building Fee Schedule for application fees.

When and where is this service offered?

This service is available throughout the year during regular business hours except during scheduled holidays.
